A web site serving the optoelectronics industry had the short term goal to integrate different types of manufacturers, technology and information in the field of optoelectronics and to create new business opportunities for all market-players in this field. Over the long term they wanted the web site to be a way that new technologies, ideas and information could be shared more easily. It included areas such as technology transfer, technology consulting, technology design, training classes, and human resources. I was asked to evaluate and review the work they had done and deliver findings they could put to use immediately. I created a report and plan with a prioritised list of actionable items that could be improved over the short and long term.
